The benefits of Alpaca wool

Getting to know the alpacas

Alpacas, similar looking to llamas, are domesticated camelids from the Andes region in South America.
Alpacas are particularly valued because of their extremely soft wool, which is used to make different products such as hats, scarves, gloves and ponchos.  On average, each alpaca produces 7kg of fleece, which is cut once a year.
