Let's make a reflection: A lot of people love our animal friends and many of us have a furry friend at home that we love and treat like a little prince. In fact, they give us a lot and are always faithful, but how many dogs and cats live in our streets?
It's not easy to define it but according to recorded data in 2017, there are more than 200 million stray dogs worldwide, according to the World Health Organization.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals estimates about 3.3 million dogs enter U.S. animal shelters every year.
Talking about cats, their global population is estimated at 600 million.
To give you a thought, in Bolivia, more than 1.7 million animals were registered in street situations (40% females and 60% males), of which 42% were abandoned by their owners.

Buy or adopt?
There are many shelters in the world, that take care of our friends in an impeccable way that if they were not in these centers, they would be on the street defying countless dangers.
But living in a shelter is not the same as living in a family that gives love and attention to the dogs or cats. That is why we deeply believe that it is much more important to adopt a faithful friend than to buy him.
We must promote greater awareness in people, trying to make them understand the importance of adoption and the fact that an animal, like a person, is valid for what it has inside, what it can express, not only for the aesthetic aspect.
The adoption of an animal must start from the will to have a relationship.
Who adopts an animal, instead of buying it, shows to have a different awareness about the type of relationship.
We think that this is the best way to make happy a hairy friend who has already suffered a lot.
But this is our opinion and we don't want to criticize anyone.
